SWTORStrategies.com is reporting that a recent move in status for Star Wars: The Old Republic over at the EA official website, changing its release date from TBD to TBA. While by no means a confirmation, it does fuel the rumor that a launch day is imminent and may be announced at SDCC. It could mean that they have a target for release but that doesn’t mean they will be willing to release it to the public yet. Since the game is still considered to be in a “polishing” state, it could be weeks or months more before we hear of a date. Just because they have a date in mind does not mean they are at a point of wanting to share that date with the public.

So is this change from TBD to TBA a sign of good things to come soon is it really nothing more than what we already know? Some fans could be grasping at straws hoping for a release date that just isn’t coming yet.
